Congratulations on becoming an Independent Team Beachbody Coach, and welcome on board! We just wanted to make you aware that, as a Canadian resident, there are three mandatory steps you need to take in order to ensure timely payment of any commissions or bonuses earned. Please take a few minutes now to review this important information, and take any necessary steps immediately to comply with these important legal and financial requirements.

3 UPDATE YOUR ELECTRONIC FUND TRANSFER DETAILS (EFT):
  • Coaches who reside in Canada can only be paid weekly commissions and bonuses via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer, more commonly referred to as Direct Deposit). Canadian Coaches cannot be paid via check.
  • To ensure you receive payments from Team Beachbody without delay:
  • Please log into your Coach Online Office and update your EFT setting as soon as possible by following this path: My Business > EFT Management > Bonus Payout Method (select "Canada EFT" from the drop down menu, follow remaining prompts and select "Save".)
  • For the safety and security of your information, it's important to note that our Coach Relations agents are not able to complete this process for you. For more information on EFT, please visit FAQ 9834.
2 SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED W-8BEN FORM TO OUR COACH RELATIONS TEAM:
  • It is a requirement that all Canadian coaches complete a W-8BEN form. Your completed form may be submitted to our Coach Relations team via email using the following link: https://faq.beachbody.ca/app/ask/lob/team.
  • Each form will be reviewed and every Coach will be notified when the form is received and accepted. An example form can be reviewed here.
  • If corrections are necessary, our Coach Relations Team will provide you further instructions. You'll find more information about this form, and the information it requires at FAQ 1233.
  • Your completed W-8BEN must be submitted and accepted by our Coach Relations Department no later than 30 days after your enrollment date in order to avoid any delays in receiving any commissions or bonuses earned. If you fail to submit a completed form by the deadline provided, all bonuses and commissions will be withheld until your W-8BEN has been submitted to and accepted by Coach Relations.
  • A few helpful tips for you:
    • The Canadian Tax ID# in Section 6 is your SIN.
    • Put your birthdate in Section 8.
    • Sections 9 and 10 must be completed in order for your W-8BEN to be accepted – please refer to the sample W-8BEN provided in Coach FAQ 1233 for the language required.
3 SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED DIRECT SELLER'S LICENSE APPLICATION TO OUR COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT:
  • If you are a Coach residing in Nunavut, Northwest Territories or Prince Edward Island; you are also required to file a direct seller's license application. However, you will submit all paperwork directly to your provincial office.
  • If you are a Coach residing in Manitoba or New Brunswick; your completed direct seller's license application and your filing fee must be submitted by mail to our Compliance Department for review. If the application is correct and accompanied by the necessary fee, the application will be countersigned by Team Beachbody and submitted back to your province for filing.
  • More information about this process (for Coaches living in any of the six named provinces) can be found at FAQ 2219. Coaches residing in Manitoba or New Brunswick who have not submitted a completed application within the first 30 days following your enrollment will be subject to having commissions and bonuses withheld until this obligation is fulfilled.
If you have any further questions regarding these important requirements: please feel free to reach out to our Compliance Team at (844) 246-2227 or via email at compliance@teambeachbody.com. Our team is available via phone between 9 am and 6 pm PST, Monday through Friday.

Many thanks in advance for your prompt attention and cooperation. We look forward to working with you!
